When she finds out that he was murdered, she recruits Mac Harper, a former Green Beret, to help her find her husband's killers. After doing that, Henry Towler, her husband's boss, offers her the late husband's job. So Dani would continue being a photographer and Mac would be one of her models. Henry would send them anywhere in the world where Americans are in trouble or criminals need to be caught. Once there, they act pretty much on their own. When Jon-Erik Hexum, who played Mac, died (see below), Jack Striker joined the show in the "Writer Block" episode as a real agent who is added to Dani's team as the new model.
